A Malicious Act lacks moral consciousness and is a type of passive-aggressive behavior that is associated with the singling out of a colleague(s) to start a campaign of unfair and unprofessional treatment towards them. It is dangerous and affects the performance, well-being, mental health, health, and survival of the target. The workplace becomes UNSAFE and a DANGER to the target Organisations with top-down management structures with poor leadership, poor emotional intelligence, poor communication skills, lack of trust and lack of a moral conscious lead to workplace toxic environments. Lack of mutual trust in the workplace creates a toxic workplace culture. It often begins with the organisation itself, appointing management who are a psychological risk to employee safety. Human failures spread throughout the teams leading to a poisonous cycle of unhealthy responses that affect employee well-being, engagement and productivity.
